You know what the worst part is? Some of the over the top special effects and events they use in these kinds of shows could be done really well, hell they look really nice and the music in the background in this was rather enjoyable, but this....is SOOO skipped.

can somebody please confirm whether Itsuki is actually female, because there are conflicting reports on the web about this....I am beginning to think maybe later on, Itsuki turns out to be male, but was maybe dressing as a female...? Please help by going to wikipedia, and editing the page for this anime! Try to get references that can be cross-checked! Another inconsistency is that the "asstronomy club" is also very much interested in astrological stuff, which makes me think maybe it is an astrology club after all - albeit with fujoshi (female yaoi otaku) tendencies...

just got back from wikipedia, where I corrected the plot summary..earlier entry identified Itsuki Noya as male..she is female, and the intro to this anime is incorrect, if it states that it is a guy surrounded by girls...they are all girls in the club. Itsuki thinks she is joining the astronomy club, when in reality, it is the ASStronomy club, who are all female with fujoshi interests!

To make some things clear:
1. Itsuki is a guy, deal with it
2. EGChris, asstronomy wasn't a misspell, it was a pun. Normally astronomy club is written as 天文部 in japanese (tenmonbu), but here you can see in one scene that it is written 天悶部. It is also 'tenmonbu', but it means something like "sky club in agony". Translators tried to show this by adding one additional 's' to astronomy.
