When I was looking up this topic I have come across so many weird inventions that this might as well be the start.off for a series: "Weird Japanese Inventions" ... I thought about posting some of my findings over time ... even though Westerners might take most of those inventions as weird, they actually try to tackle with typical everyday issues and tasks, just in their very unique and often odd way.

I mean: who hadn't had issues eating noodles without getting tomato-sauce...

All right already, I guess being on active on an Anime forum pretty much means that we all got a slight idea about "Otaku" ... I suppose watching anime does not imply that we are all Otaku ourselves like using a computer does not make us Nerds, but we pretty much know about them and what they are made of ... However, its not that clear to everybody and obviously some people need to follow a list and via box-ticking trace down whether you are or are not an Otaku! - Thats at least what...

I've come across this web-site where you are asked to marry your favorite fictional character. Its apparently aiming at anime-enthusiuasts, but also a lot of movie-characters are listed and also some real-life movie actors. Top of the list is "Captain Jack Sparrow", followed up by Sasuke Uchiha and others with Johnny Depp ranking fifth. Now we know "Captain Jack Sparrow" appears to be more likely to be marriage material than Johnny Depp ... the actor who played Jack Sparrow....
