In the newest issue of The New Yorker, a cartoon by Farley Katz caught my interest:

Sorry for the bad quality. If the caption isn't clear enough, it actually says: "For the last time -- I'm not on drugs. I'm just anime."

It was quite interesting to see this on a Western mainstream(??) magazine. Collegehumor may be largely credited. For those who haven't seen it yet:

we go to school to attend class
C.L.A.S.S. = Come Late And Sleep Silently
in class were given homework
H.O.M.E.W.O.R.K.= Half Of My Energy Wasted On Random Knowledge
at home we have to study
S.T.U.D.Y= Sleep, Tv, Unlimited sms, Dota, You tube.

and thats what those words really mean...
they just wont tell you
you just have to out smart them!

Life just sux without anime/manga

last week, my parents banned me from watching or reading anime and manga cuz i they say that i'm growing up and i need to act more like an adult.:mad: i thought that was the dumbest thing i've heard as i'm still a teen. so during that whole week, i had nothing to do. but after one week, my parents ad to let me watch and read anime again because they said that all i did was sleep and stay out late.:biggrin:

Banzai! to being able to watch anime/manga again and laziness that helped...
