It's always aggravated me to a certain degree when people put me off due to them over-managing themselves.

Whether it be my relatives or friends.

I can tolerate it for a while, but soon it makes me feel neglected and terrible.

For example, while i was growing up, all my dad ever did was work. work over time at his office, work none-stop in the yard, go off with his buddies and do his own thing, watch TV, read, etc, etc.
