Longest anime series

So after some research i finally found the longest anime series.

The name of the anime is Sazae-san and it currently has 6917+ episodes. The anime has been airing since 1969 and it still airs today.

Its only natural sibling cannot get married.

Yup only 30 minutes till good old Toonami comes on I'm so happy it's back :3 but I'm pissed that stupid Star Wars is gonna be on it D:< but at least some good anime are on but only a few Bleach, Soul Eater, Sword Art Online, FMA Brotherhood ^~^
