Thoughts on a Featured Voice Actor

I've always been a fan of voice actors. Ever since I knew anime characters were voiced by real people. (I was once a stupid kid who didn't realize this sooner.)

I'm not sure if many people care who voices these characters, but I do, so I wanted to dedicate this blog to the people who bring my favorite characters to life. :)

Thank you for visiting this page.

VA2 of the Day: Luci Christian [Kaname, Nami, Honey]

Posted August 12, 2013 at 06:17 PM by Ashiya (Voice Actor of the Day)

I was re-watching some Full Metal Panic lately and I remembered this voice actress who voiced the female protagonist Kaname in the English dub. I watched FMP both subbed and dubbed and I loved both, so I really like the voice actors on this particular anime.

So now I feature Luci Christian.

VA1 of the Day: Steve Blum [Spike, Mugen, Orochimaru]

I'll be making most of my time today as I anticipate busy days to come. I'll be posting more VAs than usual.

I've been meaning to make a post about this voice actor for some time now. He's in the Guiness Book of World Records as the most prolific voice actor for video games, and he's been on a lot of anime, too. Without further ado, here's a little something about Steven Blum.

VA of the Day: Romi Park [Edward, Hanji, Nana]

Work suddenly tried its best to get in the way of my life, and gave me the inability to make more posts, and due to limited time and inablity to decide who's next, for now I decided to follow the theme of non-Japanese voice actors.

But. Since I posted about Vic Mignogna last time, I couldn't help remembering the one who voiced Ed in Japanese. And I remembered she's actually Korean. So...she's the next non-Japanese on this list.

VA of the Day: Vic Mignogna [Edward, Tamaki, Zero]

When I was a kid, my father didn't want his children watching violence on tv so we were only allowed to watch certain shows in Disney and Nickelodeon (yes, it sucked to be me). So back then I didn't even know about anime. My first encounter with anime was probably through Ranma 1/2 (not sure if that was someone's vhs). That's why the two Ranmas (Kappei and Megumi) are the first ones I researched when I learned about the existence of voice actors.

They will be the only voice actors
