Just picked up a dead rat

It was by my back gate and I noticed it, got gloves and tried to pick it up and put it in a trashbag. My hand stayed 10 inches away. Went inside, wrapped my hands in 2 full sized trashbags each, spent 5 minutes trying to gain the courage to pick it up, finnaly picked it up, wrapped it in ALL 4 trashbags, and through it in the outside garbage since tomorrow's trashday.Took a shower for 40 minutes. Got on the computer and typed this.
