Having accumulated enough book recommendations for now, I am mostly focusing on jokes and stories about events in my life. Joke entries will have quotes around the title ("title"), and reminiscences will have angle brackets (<title>). Just in case you can't tell the difference...

Instead of my usual recommendations, I'm going to change things a little this week. First, I'm going to have a surprise guest blogger -- Jo Walton, a well known SF & F writer, blogger, and general guru. The person most surprised would probably be her, since she doesn't know about it.
