So last night I picked up my guitar for the first time in like 5 years as I decided I'd like to learn to play again. I had lost every ounce of skill I once had wit ha guitar and I'm back on square one. I regret giving up guitar... Anyway no point lingering on the small details, I'll just practice hard now!

So anyone have any tips for a new guitar player? Exercises, easy songs, anything else? I won't be having a teacher, I used to have one though.

People are so stupid, they waste their time, so badly, I mean get this. My friend is learning Japanese (like me) and he's complaining to me that he has no time to learn it and it's pissing him off. I asked him what's taking up all of his time, and he satd he has exams soon so doesn't have any time for anything else.

So today for lunch I decided to make myself a sandwich. I looked in the fridge; ham - check, lettuce - check, cucumber - check, tomato - check. Everything was there. Shortly after getting out the ingredients I washed the salad buttered the bread and began constructing the monstrosity of a sandwich. One it was done I looked tasty towering over my chopping board at just over 7.5cm (3 inches). I had to take a picture, so I did.

Yet another Japanese calligraphy blog :P So sorry if this doesn't interest you :P

So My favourite kanji atm is 冬　which is said fuyu and means winter, although I have to say the computer font does ruin it :P Anyhow I wanted to do a piece with this kanji in, so I decided I'd write out the kanji for the four seasons　春 haru - spring, 夏 natsu - summer, 秋 aki - autumn, 冬 fuyu - winter.

I think it turned out pretty big but...
