One of the other basic stuff.
This on might be he harderst of al.
With around a 100 different herbs, al with a different taste and use it is important to know most of them wel.
It doesnt matter wich ones you start with, if your gonna do them al, but if you wanna keep it simple, try this list.

For my second blog about the art of cooking, another basic.

Love. ove your products, love the way you work.


It might sound weird, but treath every single product you work with with love. In a good restaurant, there wil work people who love cooking. No love for it means you dont go al out.

Love your products, treath them right. Know them.
If you know what you do, and you do it with love, you will do it right.

The first of many, Cooking as a art: Salt.

Salt is your main ingridient in the kitchen.
The use of the right amount of salt can make or break any dish. Salt gets all tastes in your dish up. That means that you either will taste more of the herbs youve use, without them getting in the way, or that you bring out the natrua flavors of your piece of meat/fish/veggie

Needed to get this out, my head is filled with anger since yesterday.

I was at work, cooking, and some idiot woman dared to walk in the kitchen and start to tell me how i needed to do my work. Im happy i didnt loose my temper back there but it was close.

What i al want to ask you, please never tell a cook how to work, cooking is an art, and you wouldnt tell picasso how to do his job right?
