Then there's this: I spent a night not too long ago writing a new piece with my friend.

I've been taking care to make sure those chords resolve right, and I rather like it so far. It's not really in a particular key... or at least it seems...

I am actually 18 today, though.

So... Now I can smoke legally and be tried as an adult...

But I don't smoke or commit crimes... So I guess I'm just waiting until I'm 21 and can drink.

It's weird how I care less and less the older I get... Or maybe that's just the general apathy and loss of grip on reality blending all of my days into one another until I can't tell them apart or remember them at all, anyway....

But it had a great run. I was watching some anime and thought, "Hey, I feel like jamming."

Lo and behold, on my way from turning my amp on back to my chair, I made a bit of noise by tapping my fingers on the neck somewhere, just to make some noise; test the signal and all.

Bam, great idea for a song.

An hour and a half later and I have something pretty good coming along, even if most of that time was split between the anime and the listening...

So... I just finished L.A. Noire... I couldn't sleep and needed something to do. I was going to finish it tomorrow, but... it was already in the console...

Dammit... I need some time to think...

That was brilliant, really.

Shit, that last military flashback... I was NOT fucking expecting that. It completely changed my opinion on Cole in the war... That was his (and Sheldon's) breaking point, I guess...

Who wants to compare scores?

Well, I took the ACTs a while ago... Every Junior at my highschool did... The thing is, though, that they all got their results three or four weeks ago, whereas I received mine today.

Now I get to gloat, because I'm not good at many things; but I do score quite well on tests despite a distinct lack of preparation...
