the only horror movie to ever scare me as a kid was the exorcist (original) everything else was to cartoony imo..... i think real life killers are scarier then anything you'd see in a movie like for example Ed Gein, Jeffrey Dahmer, Dennis Rader, Zodiac Killer....i used to watch all of american justice on A&E lol

Signs is also a favorite of mine. The picture, soundtrack, special affects, acting, etc were all well done and it exploited my fear of being watched by outside tormentors -_-. Its about the only movie i cant watch at night due to that lol. I also liked the philosophical and psychological aspects of it.

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Lol this is probably my favorite stephen king movie. Post-apocalyptic, good vs. evil, horror, god and the devil, drama, tragedy. It had everything. I agree that Flagg was one badass villain and scary as hell, especially in the cornfield dreams. He also had the best line in the movie, "Oh yeah i almost forgot...Pleased ta meecha Lloyd. Hope ya guess my name!" lol my dad and i cracked up when he said that since its from a favorite song of ours. And to this day, when we're discussing politics, the economy or comment on current events that make us facepalm, we sometimes use Tom's "M O O N. That spells yada yada," line lmao." Like this, "M O O N. That spells The Man."

It takes place in Haiti, deals with voodoo practices, has great acting by Bill Pullman, has impressive special effects, and adequate plot & dialogue. ![]() ![]()
