What do you look for when you listen to music?

That's also what I look for in music v.v I don't give a damn about lyrics anymore. Sure, I listen to them carefully once in a while, but only to see if the music I'm listening to sounds completely random (not including the nyan cat song 8D). I mainly focus on the music itself, not the lyrics. So, if the music's good, I like it :/

I make music because music is entertaining and I like hearing something I've written and thinking "Hey, that sounds cool!"

It's usually the beat more-so than the lyrics that get my attention but good lyrics are a bonus :P

Both but most importantly I just like the feel of the music as a whole. I don't mind genre a whole lot as long as the song just feels nice to me. Though of course there's preferences here and there like my love for Japanese music over English.

Well, I forget to state that music doesn't have to have lyrics to be good *facepalms self*
I mean, there are lots of good songs out there that you can just feel the emotion, WITHOUT lyrics.
