But he's the realistic protagonist .-.

A darker ending suits the tone of the series much better, and the ova felt like just a forced happy ending that was not necessary.
It would have been fine if it just explored the lives of the characters
, or possibly had a new game with new diary holders

Deus Ex Machina is a fucking Dinosaur.
Woooo Dinosaurs.

I do agree that the OVA was a forced happy ending but I still much prefer a happy ending over a sad one. But that's just the way I am ;k

Remember to keep any content which can be deemed as spoilers within spoiler tags guys.
On topic: I would be happy if they decide to just portray the life of Yuki in the aftermath with the help of an OVA. I don't follow the manga, so i won't know anything beyond whatever i have seen from the anime itself.

Yeah I edited mine a few seconds after posting it, but the quote is probably before I finished editing :o

I like the endings which make the most sense and are the most satisfying, if that's a sad ending then I'm fine with it and even applaud the author for doing it, since most hesitate. That's how I personally see it.
But think about this, would the ending of code geas have been the same if it were completely happy,

I understand why sad endings are necessary at times which is why I tend to avoid those kind of animes. It's ironic how much more I love the plot of "sad ending" animes then a majority of the happy ones.

Its mostly because the anime's which will obviously have happy endings often don't put much effort into plot... Although those ones still are not as bad as forced happy endings, or half assed endings *cough* Reborn! manga *cough*

Clammy December 3, 2013 01:27 PM

Reborn was good up until the time skip arc that had like 100 episodes...

As for the manga I haven't read it yet.
