yea..i agree tat sometimes things are said in a moment of pique and often without much thought and observation. so, looking at your idea of a time-based game, it seems like a good idea. with Miya at the helm, i would suppose that a general idea of the game and its theme has already been thought out  | Already written down about a full page worth of information.
Here's a short version.
It's a game where anyone can join at any point. You need to build up your empire, this is done by gathering resources, you have 4 resources. Food, wood, iron and gold. They all have their main purpose. Food keeps your people fed, wood and iron are mainly for buildings and troops and gold is to fund your people, keep them happy.
In your empire you you build certain buildings or upgrade them and these boost certain things or unlock new things. For instance upgrading your barracks will unlock new units or upgrading your gold mine will let you collect more gold per phase.
To create some interaction between people, you can attack other players, there are limits on who you can attack and such, but I'll leave that out. A succesful attack will result in you stealing some of the resources from the attacked player. A failed attack means you lose all the units you were attacking with.
Some statics will kept track off like, who killed the most units during attacking, who killed most units during defending and such.
Lastly there are group and alliances, but this isn't really meant for until a later stage of the game where groups of people can have war with each other. |
