If an anime gives feels it means the story was good and was deep enough to invoke actual feelings. Those ones usually have satisfying endings as well. Feels are a sign of good writing, especially if the series does not focus just on drama yet can still give feels

I've found a few recently which were pretty good, but then I ended up marathoning them -__-

@ jm: I have yet to watch any that impact me enough to have a big response like crying or something, but there are ones which do invoke some form of emotional response
