Why is christmas so magical?

how can a pagan holiday over shadow the birth of christ? sure the son of god being born is special and all but Santa claus in his magical sleigh bring us presents!

Christmas is a day stolen by the Christians, from what I heard if you pay attention to stars mentioned in the bible, Christ was apparently born in the summer around june -__-
but I'm not religious in the first place...
who cares :D
