hmm..was the character a tsundere or a soft-spoken character? if it is tsundere you probably dislike Rie Kugimiya the "Tsundere Queen" (though there are other VAs who voice act for tsunderes as well. if it is those soft-spoken characters...there are tonnes that i cannot identify either. any favourite anime so far?

im not a fan of tsunderes, maybe its cos im a girl, idk haha well i dont mind tsunderes voices, i just cant stand their personalities >.<
and im probably going to get a lot of hates for this but nagisa from clannad is one of the perfect examples of voices i can not stand hearing ._.

yes, sometimes due to the nature of animes just being 12 or 13 ep short, they have to cram in lots while either sticking as close as possible to the manga, or totally change the plot to kind of "surprise" the viewer. it may work on some but may also go the other way to irk viewers as well
