If the story is good or the characters are interesting then it doesn't really matter how long it is. I never think about completing it at the start I just want to see how it goes.

No they're going to start from scratch in April and probably going to take another year or two to catch up to where they currently

Naruto and One Piece are the ones that never got a hiatus/canceled between the big 4 or 3, w/e. One piece is my favorite of them, it has the least amount of fillers than all of them.

watch detective Conan it's one of my favorite long animes and one of the longest under the same title naruto changed to shippuden so i don't consider it a single title and the fillers aren't too bad in them i enjoy them as much as the storyline
