I find it completely normal for everyone to be scared of spiders(excluding the phobias I don't get them I think) and that's about those huge tarantulas and stuff like that. those that'll look poisonous I wouldn't even spare those I'd greet them with a stone most likely, but I'd leave the smaller ones that look harmless alone.

My life is pretty mundane, other than having a prego cat around

I'm not scared of spiders... well i mean I get a bit of fright if one falls on me... I have a phobia of cockroaches though T.T

1) Don't get in a car in the first place or at least not when I'm around. lol
2) It might be better for your environment though.
