mhmm, gintama is one of those long-running shows, stopped at 265.
just start from the first episode~ the first ~20 or so episodes aren't as funny as the 30~40 and above ones simply because not as many characters are introduced yet~ and the first major action arc happens a lot lot later. they have about ~5 or so big arcs, everything else is just fun and jokes~ :))
