hmm. let us see. if you are asking about the general things like why people get disappointed, it is because of "expectations".

if you are asking why people want a particular thing badly, it is because they feel that they "deserve" it as well when others also get it, especially if what others get they perceive as good and beneficial to them. now, the something may not always be something good, but it does leave those without it wanting.

like for example, "oh it would be good if i am able to talk like a particular person". but, in the process of doing so, i do feel that one is shortchanging themselves. rather than compare a person's weakness to another person's strength, why not appreciate one's own strengths while seeking to improve on the areas that are not that good?

Simple " you cant get anything that you want" and " you cant please everyone " would done the trick, but okay :D

nothing. interesting, huh. do you really believe that there is nothing? if you are looking at it, humans really have nothing despite the great tech and scientific advances. nothing belongs to humans at all. look at the cars, houses..nice and posh, or simple, in the end, one comes and leaves the world without these nice things. probably, except for the memories that are retained at the end of it all ;)

yea. one does not get anything that they want and that you cannot please everyone. of course while one cannot please everyone, feathers of another will surely be ruffled and offended, right? so that is why in anime, it is always said, "let us get along and create wonderful memories together!"
