i can agree with first part. but not with second. as far as i know its impossible to "draw" out something that is already constantly dissolved, no ? but im not scientist, i cant know how filters works :?

well a solid is never 100% dissolved in liquids. they are usually just floating in it so tiny you cant see them or feel their texture. (you can boil salt out of seawater for instance)
