I watched P4 The Animation. Well i guess since it only focuses on the Main Plot you never got to See all those little things.

Wait, just remembered, In P4TAnimation they go to Tatsumi Port Island for a School trip and played that music that made me go ^-^ when i heard it XD

It was probably because Persona 3 was such a big thing for the Person series they decided to put that in
Actually in P3 FES the last add on expansion, explains how shadows and personas are connected which serves as a base for P4, you'll understand it when you play it...
