Just start talking about how the author has no creativity and is just exploiting shock-value for the sake of sales. | It really was actually written really eloquently though...at the end, the author describes the girl's relation to her mother as a root of a tree clinging to another root, in sync with that tree, until the old man tears the two apart, and the girl merely becomes a parasite with no direct relation to the tree...he tells her not to tell her mother what he does to her, and she doesn't, fearing she will be torn from her mother, but knowing she had already been torn away, which is why she continues to return to the man, as she has no one, not even her mother, and his hands are both terrifying and pleasurable. At the end, she states that her legs (roots) have been severed. Iyaaaa...isn't that chilling? I really don't know why, I can stomach so much blood, gore and abuse, but this kind of thing triggers something inside me...I want to crumble awayyy x~x |
