Look, online relationships =/= don't start with them really.... and if you really like her get over your fear & go meet her, that's the only thing you can do really. I got over my social phobia (I guess you didn't suspect me to have this) but I did. Now I'm a normal guy but still I got quite some issues with talking with people (well depends wich people), thanks to my phobia I started searchign for distraction wich I found in games/online sites

I would try to reassure you Jay but I don't know jack-shit about online relationships or how to comfort people so I'll say this:
If you really do like her as much as you say you do, then I'd say keep in contact if possible. Show that if at least the romantic route won't work, then you'll be there as a friend and work from there.
