Well if you don't want to go into anything then just completely ignore the negative talk when it's about that person. Because there is no stopping it, until a mod comes around with their ban hammer prepared.

I know your intentions are good, but when it comes to that person, there is no room for positivity. You can try all you want, but you won't be able to budge in. Just ignore it and don't try to make it better...
