Ecchi-wise, no.
Animation-wise, no.

The amount of fanservice is still same old same old even before the hiatus,
and the animation ( 2014 ) doesn't seem any different from the previous episodes.

It's not same as the old one, if you read the manga you should notice that many things were censored in 2014 version. :(

Fiary Tail is adopted from a ecchi manga after all. they tone it down to the level of fanservice though.

I love the fillers so far. Short yet sweet and really bringing out the spirit of FT. It's especially great that you don't know what's coming... exactly.
