What do you think of this image?

I personally feel it is a good comparison cause the Naruto on the right does look older than the first design.

I'm a bit confused –*is this movie a sequel to the anime? Does it conclude the naruto series? Or is it just a sidestory? And is its plot from the manga or just some kind of other story not written by Kishimoto-sensei?

The manga of naruto is ending in the next 5 weeks and this film is being release in response to that.

Considering how factual bakuman is... One could assume that kishimoto has I fact already completed the final draft and storyboards for the series.

Also for this movie he has been working quite fair amount on the story and character designs so this is I fact a sequel to the mangas ending. Unfortunately I can't give u details as it will spoil the anime.

But news and information of the film will spoil the ending of the manga because we already know from the movies news that sasuke and naruto both survive the ending the series.

Fans argued they should have out off sasukes design and to make matters worse they are out right parading his right eye rinnegan which isn't in the anime yet.

But all in all this is a canon sequel to naruto it is meant to bridge the series towards the future and to a new generation *cough* revolution

They need a better image of hinata and lol naruto with a scarf.

Looking at lee I'm kinda hoping for a gai design but then I'm reminded of the fact he might not be u know ok...
