I used to be like that (Well more like that than I am) whenever I'd go to school when i was young, people would initiate 'crashing' competitions in which they'd just make very stupid yo mama jokes. Imagine someone following you around spurting out stupid jokes and side comments all day, all week. Wouldn't you want to hurt that person? Yea you would. I've been in my share of fights, although when I was younger they'll all be physical, the same applies here, you'll get used to it and just think "Will this even matter in a year?" and the answer will 9 times out of 10 be "No, this barely matters now." People do change. Not only that but if I start a fight in my current school, I'll be expelled. heh

IDk what happened exactly but here's what I have to say :

arc, there things in life that just makes you want to beat the cr** out of it but do remember that you're stooping up to it's level and in the end it may feel great and all that, but you'll forget about it or it may haunt you. When somebody gets mad two things can happen, ONE, those two might argue and will lead to smth violent and TWO you can relax and walk away and save it for later.Try to lower down the seriousness.
