basically the Japanese get the Kanji from the Chinese.
if you see a text in Chinese, you can never see a single Hiragana or Katakana,, just them wierd many squiggly lines called Kanji XD

kanji helps identify words that sound the same. hayaku in japanese means fast or early, based on what kanji is used

half american :P I only speak japanese with my brother (rarely) and to my other relatives.

i feel i should be part jap with my obsession with it [and the fact that i feel i can relate to their culture better too xD]

meh,, im half japanese, half filipino :P and we balance talking in Tagalog(filipino) and Japanese in my family XD
