Yup, God mythologies are interesting, No? ^^

I have a few favourites like Sarasvati & Narcisus..

the origin of alot terms we use today are derived from their Names

Sarasvati is not greek Narcisus is :D most interesting is about gods they were noty :P :P :P like zeus :)

I used to have books. I started with the Bible story ones (No religion) and they piqued my interest, then I played games like Pharaoh, Ceaser3 and learned about papyrus and the pyramids.

Cartoons which had some myths in: Hercules/Disney. The Mummy. Q_Q, I forget most.
Still, it's heart wrenching what happen to Medusa. The Roman god of the underworld is fabulous. Plus, I read about Ra, what his name means and it initially made me watch "Stargate".

Also, God of War... I think I spent more time researching Prometheus, Icarus and his father Daedalus etc than when I completed the game. Usually reading the books in Art Class.

speaking of gods, i recently learned the history of hemaphroditos..
he's the offspring of 'Hermes' and 'aphroditus' and he was a boy who was as beautiful as a girl.. his beauty was androgenous and i think he had both Male/Female body parts Hence the term. "Hemaphrodite"

^ well we'll visit his family or they come to visit us x-mas eve and that. my family lives too far away for that. except my sis and her family. some times the drop by for x-mas but not usally.

Do you celebrate it with a christmas tree and presents? because where I live people celebrate it without a christmas tree and I do to, we just have a christmas dinner. xD @Jaffa you're interested in mythology as well?

Wikipedia is great for this, I learned of the Titans... I hate how Hades is seen as Evil, he's the only good Greek God TBH.

Find out about Medusa, she was pursued by a god, Poseiden I think, she didn't want him, but no. She sought sanctuary in Aphrodite's(?) Temple, but because Medusa was beautiful, she was jealous and didn't save her from Poseiden; Instead turning her into the creature after Poseiden ;__;.
