So I have heard a lot about it but never felt compelled to watch it. So is it any good or should I just skip it?

I think it's worth a watch. It was a pretty decent anime. The plot was so-so and the MC was OP but it was still an enjoyable watch.

MC is OP, but I like the fact that he is forbidden to use/hiding his powers. I like to see him on the sideline while ppl are fighting/struggling like mad to just kill 1 bug and he jumps in and 1 hit KO everything lol.
