Trust me; Those motion comic books are way better than those mediocre, Japanese anime versions of different Marvel super heroes.

I was recently recommended New X-Men, written by Grant Morrison. Good stuff, but the art quality is inconsistent. But Astonishing X-Men, by Josh Whedon, has got to be the best X-Men story-lines I have ever read. Plus, the artwork is phenomenal. There was even a fairly decent (but not superior to the printed comic) motion comic, based on this run. Wow, I had a total brain fart. I was thinking of the one-shot shotgun thing..... See now I know that the achievement would be a lot harder that I first thought. I never even bothered to pick up or buy that gun as it was so horrible in the first game so I was kind of expecting the same in Last Light.

I don't know why anyone would sell Skyrim. That game is one of the best to just go back to for a few hours....or days. Skyrim eats away at the hours so fast. I have played that game way too much. I have over 1000 saves and 200 hours, plus a level 96 character....

About those old school blockbusters: As an adult, I can still enjoy watching Predator, Commando (lol), Total Recall, Kickboxer, Bloodsport (one of my all-time favs), Double Impact (lol), Rambo trilogy, The Terminator trilogy, and those first four action gems, starting Steven Seagal, in his prime.

I think the action star torch should be passed on to Jason Stathan & Colin Ferrell. Screw The Rock and Shia LaBeouf. Pfft...

The Book of Eli, and to a lesser extent The Road, were the two movies that satisfied my craving for a good post-apocalyptic movie. I wanted to like I Am Legend and Doomsday so much, but they did not live up to my expectations. I love those films that remind me of Max Max, The Road Warrior, Escape from New York, Blade Runner, and even Cyborg (which I did not like when I was very young, but enjoy it very much now.)

I really enjoyed Gladiator, as well as Kingdom of Heaven. Hell, I still do not understand why the public and critics were so harsh in reviewing Alexander, which I thought was a very entertaining movie?

I also just remembered how lame and tedious the first hour of the most recent Rambo film was; Rambo took forever on that boat to get to his destination.

I also enjoy all those early Arnold, Stallone, and Van Damme action flicks. After seeing them recently (as an adult) I like them even more! Too bad Chuck Norris flicks have not aged that well. I also became a fan of early Steven Seagal action movies. They are comically violent and full of bad ass attitude. They sure don't make 'em like they used to. xD What are your favorite action stars/movies?
