My aunt, she gives all her kids/grandchildren awesome presents during the holiday seasons. My mom also gets them great gifts. But when i go to get mines, it is usually some dollar store cologne that smells like something out of an antique shop. And she has gotten it for me yearly. I accept it because I know they say it's the thought that counts but that really is a last minute pick-up gift.

The last one she got me smelled like a salt and pepper shaker. I really threw that one out, i couldn't take it anymore lolz.

I think that mine are a bottle of £2 wine that my sister bought off my mum (who is an alcoholic) so that she wouldn't drink it and decided to give to me for my birthday. I remember that I had one sip of it and then poured the rest of the bottle down the sink. It tasted like piss. To be fair she did give me a couple of other bits too though.

Then there was the time my mum sent me a second hand plastic bracelet for my 21st birthday. That was pretty much my only present that year, oh the memories lol.

To me the worst kind of presents that anyone can give you are the second hand kind cos it just says that they didn't care enough about you to go out and buy you something especially for you. I would rather that someone went out and bought me a cheap box of chocolates than just pass on to me something that they didn't want, because at least then I would know that they had put some thought into it.

i come from a pretty poor family and we have to be pretty cheap so i have gotten second hand gifts all my life. i was always happy to get them too. i dont put much value on new or old things. as longe as i got something it was fine by me. i honestly can't think of a gift i was disatisfied with.

I can't really think of anything at the moment.

I would suppose my least favorite would be gift cards, because I really never use them and typically give them to ppl I think would go to that particular store or place. (Usually, they are from ppl who just give thing's for the sake of the occasion, nothing else.)

(I don't re-gift it, I just ask if they would want it and make use of it)

Not terrible but I was disappointed. :(

Now I don't really care, I don't need gifts or anything for my B-Day or Christmas. ^_^

On my 21st birthday, I was completely forgotten.

No calls, no cards, nothing. Even my fiancee at the time had forgotten it. I was living with her in Memphis, helping the landlady take care of her Great Pyranees dogs in exchange for a break on the rent. So on my 21st birthday, I spent it scooping up dog poop.

Some of the dogs pooped an extra amount that day...maybe that was their gift to me. ^_^ At least it beat the big steaming pile of nothing I got from everybody else LOL. The dogs put a little effort into it.

EDIT: they made it up later by taking me out to get drunk LOL. My fiancee and our friends, that is, not the dogs -_-
