The Destiny of life [Poem]

[Godless]

As my mind drifts to an ethereal plane
I take one last look at the silhouette that was my soul
It is my time to lay peacefully in that sweet surrender
I have long used the gift of borrowed life

My essence will scatter like Leafs in the wind
Dancing in the breeze eternally playful
For once i will not think i will just be
And find my place in the stillness of nature

It is time to return to home now
To the source where life begins and stops
Back to the embrace of Mother and Father
Where my presence have always belonged

Because all life one day will expire
For we were all born to die
Cursed and gifted by our mortality
Which chose our destiny from the start

That was a very nice poem, nice details and symbolism. One thing your transition to the second stanza was kinda like a giant leap straight there,the transition didn't flow too well. It just kinda jumped there.

For me it was like when ppl contemplate their mortality, then they embrace the value of themselves and each day that they have and appreciate their live's just that much more.
