Depends what i'm doing, both my laptop and desktop are high end, and can do both tasks.

As I've gotten older and my eyes aren't as good, I need the full keyboard and a larger screen to enjoy my computer. I did have a 21' laptop, but it was so dang big, heavy and hot, it wasn't practical. I can see that laptops are better for younger users by far. I might one day go get a kindle to read books, but I still like reading from a real book. What about a tablet vs laptop or desktop? Is a tablet considered a laptop? I dunno!

![]() ![]() ![]() | because it's completely wrong. Being on a wireless network doesn't make it harder to get viruses at all, viruses don't get streamed onto your computer via a wire. You have just as much chance getting a virus on a laptop as on a pc. And by the way, my pc is wireless, so that's an invalid point even if it was true.

I use my IMac desktop a lot more than my laptop, probably because its new and is a lot more updated than my laptop.
