Skilled people with totally different opinions/views than you.

So, this thread is about people who are really skilled at something and when you try
to approach them HELL happens or you get told off when you just went for a
compliment on their job. Have you people ever happened to be in this sort of
awkward-annoying situation ? I made this after watching this video on YouTube
that I happened to LOVE and then I saw a Sakura-haters comment that I also
agreed with, then got told by the creator of the vid who I was about to compliment

well when i talk to people who aren't as skilled as me in thinking for yourself they call me a heathen >_>

§ To avoid misunderstandings I try to be as simple as possible when complimenting people's creations. If they ask for a more detailed feedback I give it to the person in question. But that's about it.
If you happen to be misunderstood try not to make yourself seem like you are making excuses or talking back in a negative argumental expression.
I myself have never been into that kind of situation as far as I can remember.§
