I just was looking at the comments, wondering why people were saying this was a rerun when it wasn't-- but then I saw those people were posting a month or two ago and were referring to the re-runs that aired previous to this new arc (Japan was having a contest related to the re-runs).

awesome episode and amazing battle :) I love gintama so much and next episode this arc is ending i hope after this arc will continue with new episodes but i think it will continue with more reruns i will watch them because i love gintama :)

Unnghhh. This was an AMAZING episode. Gintoki getting all worked up, what a great battle. We hardly get to see him get serious like this. I've really really been needing them to make an arc like this. Totally worth the wait.

all you are doing here is making people hate this series. I just had to be direct here, if the next episode isn't a rerun it would be considered ep 261 here while on other websites ep 257, there will be a lot of confusion

it's not really gintama's fault, they said there will be reruns way before the anime came back, it's the staff here's fault for actually considering them all new episodes of gintama when the official website is still at 256 eps, crunchyroll also at 256. I already made a thread in the forum but they don't seem to care, I didn't see you guys upload the whole "yorinuki gintama san" reruns that started airing for a whole year after episode 201

4 weeks pass since the Kintama Arc finished. So far, we got 4 reruns (from November 1,8,15 and 22). Many fans of this series yearns for a new episode. Will Sunrise let our hopes and wishes to see a new episode be true? Or crush it with another rerun?
