As I finished watching and moved to comments I thought "Let the whiny baby bitching commence" Personally, I like having the story expanded and finding out about other characters. In a war of a couple of hundred thousand people there's a lot of potential stories. The manga kind of jumps over a lot of stuff,probably to fit into 19 pages/week,so it's nice the anime fleshes things out.

dont see it as a "filler" more like an expansion of the war arc. is it not interesting? i think its as good as the events that heppen in the manga. sure we all want the story to move faster so we ger to the big awesome battles that have been going on in the manga, but this i just as good

yeah this is exactly why i stopped watching this before...cause soo many damn fillers... but the whole thing is if they didnt do fillers it would pass the manga which would = some failed ending or cause the anime to end early like hitman reborn did .-. so i just wait for the main story to pop back up in the anime and just read the manga yeah

Sorry,I never meant fairy filler nor 12Gaurdian shinobi filler arc were perfect,but considering Hurricane Chronicles filler craps we have good fillers and evil's doing fillers
ofcourse fairytail and naruto are fan service type anime and shouldn't be compared to show types like Death note,Shakugan no Shana,Mirai Niki...

And to all who complain about fillers.if they knew how to make good fillers;just like how fairy tail group do;it wouldn't be bad to have fillers about history of strong characters.but the previous group didn't know and they just made crap making people bored,and they even mistaked memories of Kakashi about Haku and Zabuza and animation quality and songs were wrapped up.

Unfortunately for manga readers, it seems the anime is wanting a certain Edo Tensei user (You Know Who) to not be in this game anytime soon. With a six week filler arc spanning from the 22nd November to the end of December, it lengthens the gap for when he can appear and fight.
