Sometimes, this series makes me so sad. Nobles and Celestial Dragons abuse their power. Commoners are ignorant sheep who believe whatever lies the government tells them. Good, honest people end up being oppressed simply b/c they are good and honest. It hurts to watch sometimes.

Could it be No.6 author was inspired by this? The plot greatly resembles this story, people separated by the wall, the ones outside the wall are treated like trash, the ones inside live noble lives. They even want to eliminate their 'shame' and build their perfect world, etc.
If you've watched No.6, what do you think about this? I know it's not a new or special story but they cant have this many similarities, right?

These episodes aren't a waste of time because they show us how important Sabo and especially Ace are as brothers to Luffy... They were fighting for their morals and their lives, so now that Ace has died, Luffy has to face the fact that both of his brothers died before his eyes, and he couldn't do anything to save them ¬.¬

ok guys here since u keep complaining let me inform u the next episode will be the last flash back they were showing u those episode so u would no who the people who were about to show up were dadan luffy friend from his village and the dadan family it all comes together after there done withe the flash back THIS IS NOT A FILLIER OK so SHUTUP and keep watching because if u didnt see these flash backs u would be confused oh and buy the way abo died after the clestrial dragon shot the boat.

well it might be in the manga as you say but THAT doesn't mean its the story! its a complete waste of time i don't care what happen when they was young if they wanted to show as that they could do it at the first episodes since they didn't do it i found it a waste to show as that now so bring the story BACK...

@NorthBlue Selfish does not nearly describe those folks , more like the real scum of the earth everytime i see them i remember when luffy Punched one of em in the face which made me feel real happy

btw watching the fucking celestial dragons remind me when Luffy punch the shit out of one of them celestial assholes which was really awesome and made me feel really happy :D
