Interesting start.. Since I did pause the video quite a lot while watching this episode, I'm guessing that we will be getting mind fu**ed throughout this series~ The story bring revolved around kids is going to take a while to get used to thoigh; i hope they progress physically and mentally^^

i think i kind of get the story but rather blurry and puzzling if you ask me...its somehow like in some village,the villager has some pyhsic power with them, so they build a school for the kids to learn about their power,i think they teach the kids so they can use them for some purpose just like the the barn, the good cows for producing milk and bad cows is killed.just like Reiko who's missing because lack of physic power(maybe they killed Reiko?)

you had me at hello... or should I say you had me at the bloody opening scene... I'm a fan of the horror and supernatural anime genre. So now all that remains with the current state of anime is to hope for the best. Japanese horror storytelling is awesome until they decide to take a leisurely trip to the beach(wtf - another). We'll just have to wait and see.

For some reason I think that Saki's parents were not only the last graduates and knew about the cat spirit; but I'm assuming that they were suppose to be within the graduates, but many students disappear. O_O And I also hate how people don't believe in their own child, or trying to avoid the situation; it gets worse every time ._. BUT. I LOVEEE THIS ANIME ;3

it wasnt THAT confusing...pyschic powers, school for psychics, group of friends, people with weak powers disappear(Reika)...the random flashbacks can throw you off, but overall not to hard to follow...Horizon is more confusing than this

When the powers of a child reaches a certain point, a "spirit" comes to visit him/her. Then the kids are taken to the school to master their powers. Children who don't meet the spirit apparently get taken by a cat demon. There's a rumor that students disappear from the school, and one of the characters went missing at the end of the episode.
Seemed straightforward to me.
