@Valtrans the reason why they dont say the name of the sword skills they use is because they're not needed to. As long as you know the motion, then it'll activate on its own, and in the light-novel/manga, it's just the character's thoughts that are mentioning the sword skills/skills they used.

Strangely, even though I hate the anime is not accurate at times to the light novel, the action, voice-acting, and music keep me coming back every week to watch another episode. It may not be my favorite, but in my opinion, Sword Art Online is one of the better series this season.

Cool thing is, it also explains in the LN that since Asuna is using a Rapier, pretty much an extremely thin sword, it would be useless against skeleton type monsters, but she's just that skilled enough to be able to still use it's full potential.

fuck this shit!!! is wrong!!! the fucking order is wrong!!! asuna appears behind Kirito and says "chef adquired"!...but well...in the light novel the information about her being a chef isn't known until that moment, meanwhile in the anime was in a flashback that appears in volume 8 (the chapters of the murdering in a safe zone appears in volume 8 of the LN)...no point in arguin...better prepare the shotgun for elmiminating that funny moment from the story ¬¬

why dont they say the skill names? in the manga they do...that skill that kirito uses to kill the monster at the begining and then again against the skeleton near the end is called square slash or something similar and the skill he uses to break the other dudes sword is his own original skill called arms blast

Just so you all know, around this time Kirito is around level 96 while Asuna is around level 93.

Also, Kirito beat Asuna in a sword duel, so yeah. It's almost safe to say Kirito is ahead of Asuna. Think about it like this -- Kirito concentrated on STR (or improving ATK) while Asuna concentrated on AGI/DEX (or improving accuracy and attack speed)

To be honest the guard didn't really piss me off,various reasons for that.
He was damn weak and got his ass kicked in 1 episode.
He didn't really get anything we would really hate.

Shut up about fast paced. The novel was way faster, and if you thought it wasn't you're just a slow reader. Also, this anime is a full season, 25 episodes (@LauritsCampen). 12 episodes wouldn't make sense. We've gone through a few side stories... we haven't even started the first volume yet. Lol, other LN readers spoiling it... I believe we get to see Kirito in white clothing soon. There wasn't an image of that in the LN, so I can't wait to see him without his usual clothes.

I'm sure I'm not the only one, who is a bit sad, how fast paced this anime is going :( I would love to watch this great and briliant anime with every single detail and fights, quests, savings and helping with many episodes :) they went through all those floors so fast, that this anime probably won't last more than 12 episodes, well all we cna do is hoping for a second season :D
